During my summer internship in New York, I had the incredible opportunity to work with Grammy-nominated songwriter Charles Farrar, creating social media content for his artist Asha MacLean. My focus was on the release of her song “Forever Valentine” and its music video, where I captured behind-the-scenes moments, edited videos, designed graphics, and wrote captions to bring her story to life online.
I also stepped into a Production Assistant role on set, filming behind-the-scenes footage for the music video. It was such a rewarding experience to collaborate on a creative project that blended music, storytelling, and visuals to connect with fans.

Before the release of Asha MacLean’s music video, I created a series of Behind the Scenes (BTS) videos for her TikTok and Instagram Reels. One of the videos gained over 12,000 views within the first 24 hours, marking her highest engagement to date. It was exciting to see how the content resonated with her audience!

A month after the “Forever Valentine” music video dropped, MTV featured Asha’s song on their “Spankin’ New” playlist. To celebrate, I designed a carousel post for her Instagram, sharing the exciting news with her audience in a way that felt engaging and on-brand. It was a proud moment to see her music recognized on such a big platform!
